About the system
The Mangrove Inspired Simple EMDR Set was developed in Australia for practitioners using alternating bilateral stimulation in EMDR based therapies. The system uses a master control box with a lightbar, two wired tappers and an optional headphone output. It does not rely on wireless technology or an external app.
What is included

Simple Setup Proceedure
- Connect the supplied cable from the lightbar to the 3.5 mm socket labelled “Lightbar” on the control box.
- Connect each tapper using a supplied cables to the two tapper sockets on the control box.
- If using headphones or earbuds, connect them to the stereo headphone socket.
- Connect the power supply. The green power LED indicates that the unit is powered.
Controls
- Amplitude (knob): adjusts tapper vibration strength; LEDs also change brightness and indicate to when the tappers are engergized.
- Phase (knob): gradually shifts the timing of the tapper and audio signals relative to the lightbar, to add levels of taxation.
- Length (knob): adjusts and automatically centres the lightbar dot’s total travel, from 4cm up to 66 cm at maximum.
- Speed (knob): adjusts dot travel speed. Set amplitude and length first because they also affect speed; a shorter travel length or lower amplitude will cause faster movement.
- Sets (switch): selects 4, 20, 30, 40 or continuous sets. The manual defines one set as travel from the centre to one end, across to the other end and back to centre.
- Start/Stop (Button): starts the selected sets or stops them at any time.
- Distract (Button): starts a sequence of random lightbar patterns.
- Flash (Button): briefly flashes the lightbar, audio and tappers before the current sets resume.
- Colour (Button): selects among ten colours. While sets are running, hold the button until the desired colour appears, then release it.
